Nafahāt - Spirituelle Briser

I Allahs navn, først som sidst
I Allahs navn, Den Første og Den Sidste
Han er den Første uden begyndelse
Han er den Sidste uden ende
al-Awwal, al-Akhir

Nafaha
[arab. sing.]
Nafahāt [arab. plu.]

Shaykh Yahya Rhodus om betydningen af Nafahāt

The meaning of nafahāt is spiritual breezes.

It can lead to extremely strong love for Allah.

The month of Ramadan is also called shahr al-nafahāt [the month of spiritual breezes].

Who are the awliya'? The ones who remind you of Allah just by looking at them.

Being in a gathering remembering Allah is greater than remembering Allah by yourself because of the mercy that descends.

You can't constrict the nafahat of Allah. It can descend upon you at any given moment, but our hearts have to be open and tuned in. If the heart is closed it will not receive the nafahāt of Allah.

The ayyam al-wasl - the days of Divine presence.
